Florin Prunea

Florin Prunea was one of the football players who made the biggest success of Romanian football - quarter of finals at World Cup USA 1994. He and Bogdan Stelea were the best Romanian goalkeepers at a time.

He was born August 8th 1968 in Bucharest and used to play for Dinamo Bucharest, "U" Cluj-Napoca and Universitatea Craiova. In 1991 he won the title of Champion of Romania and the Romanian Cup for Universitatea Craiova.

Now, after a short career in Romanian Football Federation, he is the president of CSU Iasi. Nicolo Napoli - Stiinta's former trainer - works in the same club.

Two days ago, Florin Prunea made this statement in a press conference: "People who used to work in football know: most of FRF (Romanian Football Federation) actions in court will be lost. If Adrian Mititelu will win the lawsuit against federation, FRF will be demolished. The president of the Romanian Football Federation comes from a gray world. They are not coming from sport's world. They really hate the players from Romanian national football team. They are coming from corporate system, they are former undercover officers who, I think, don't belong in world of sports."

Universitatea Craiova - Dinamo Bucharest 0-2

Not too much to say about this game. Dinamo Bucharest is our traditional rival team. This time we were not so happy after the end of the game. Craiova lost this game and made a serious step toward second football league. For the rest of remaining games in this season the trainers of our team are G. Bita and S. Lung, the same persons who stayed on the bench in 2004, when Universitatea Craiova went in the second division, too.

Our team: 21.S. Lung - 2.Busu, 5.D. Stoica, 7.Gugu, 18.Dananae - 9.M. Costea ('67 86.Buleica), 8.Ologu, 3.D. Lopes ('45 28.Gangioveanu), 30.Prepelita - 20.Subotic, 19.Stoianof ('78 Dina).

Dinamo Bucharest - Universitatea Craiova 1-1 (3-1 after penalty kicks)

Universitatea Craiova had a really crazy game against Dinamo Bucharest. It was one game only for Romanian Cup semifinals. The begining of the match was very good for Universitatea Craiova's fans. In the 31st minute of the game, Dina scored after an assist from Mihai Costea.

Unfortunately Dinamo scored also, in the second half, after a head kick of Catalin Munteanu.

In the 71st minute of the game Spase Dilevski was redcarded for a fault he did not commit. Nothing changed until the 120th minute of the game and we had 11 meters kicks. Ologu scored for Craiova, but Barboianu, Gaman and Mihai Costea missed and Dinamo qualified in the semifinals. Another season without any performance for Universitatea Craiova.

Dinamo Bucharest - Universitatea Craiova 2-1

What a game, what a game! This is the game of the year in Romania. Universitatea Craiova must play its best against Dinamo Bucharest. And this time they did. Craiova came in Bucharest decided to do a perfect game. Unfortunately the referee was the main actor of this game.

Dinamo scored twice, but Florin Costea was no doubt faulted in the penalty area in the 13th minute of the game. The referee said: "come and play". No penalty, no card for Dinamo's defender, nothing. That was the moment which made an entire country being like a stone. Probably corruption...

Mark Wotte, the new Dutch trainer of Universitatea Craiova remained speechless. Such thing can not happen.

Our team: Lung - Bărboianu, Găman, Iliev, Bălace - Prepeliţă, Paunovic ('45 Trica), Firţulescu ('61 Gangioveanu) - M. Costea, Dina ('81 A.Piturca), F. Costea

Our goal was scored by Mihai Dina('19).
