Universitatea Craiova - CFR Cluj 0-0

Universitatea Craiova has experience of good results in debut games. Since 1991, Universitatea Craiova lost only two times in the first game of a season. Both times, Universitatea lost against FC National Bucharest. The rest of the games, were victories or draws. From 2005, Universitatea Craiova never get a goal in the first game of a season.

David Lopes signed for Craiova

The former Cordoba defender, David Lopes, signed for Universitatea Craiova. He comes from Brazil and used to play for Atletico Paranaense (Brazil), FC Porto (Portugal), Iraty SC (Brazil), NK Osijek (Croatia), Terek Groznai (Russia) and Cordoba (Spain).
He has 1,90m height and he will play as central defender or left defender. He can not play in the first game in this season but he can be part of our team in the second game against Steaua Bucharest.

Universitatea Craiova - Gaz Metan CFR Craiova 4-3

In preparation for the next football season, Universitatea Craiova met Gaz Metan CFR (Romanian second football league). It was a nice game and there were a lot of goals scored.
Our team: Lung ('70 Hotoboc) – Bărboianu, Găman ('70 Ciuca), Iliev, Buşu, Prepeliţă ('70 Firtulescu), Dilevski (I. Popescu), Gargorov ('46 Ologu), M. Costea, Dina ('70 Roman), Stoianof ('70 Gogosoiu)
Our goals were scored by: M. Costea ('8, '18, '21) and Dina ('37).

On 8th of July Universitatea Craiova met N K Osijek (first Croatian football league). The final score was 0-2.

World Cup 2010 - final act

There were a lot of games in World Cup until now. There were a plenty of goals and a lot of show. These are the rest of the results.

Universitatea Craiova - Fleetood Town 3-0

Universitatea Craiova played the second friendly game in Austria. The game was played against Fleetood Town (England's 5th League). The final result was set in the first half thanks to goals scored by Mihai Costea (5), Dina (13) si Prepelita (18).
Our team: Lung - Dananae, Gaman, Iliev, Busu - Prepelita, Dilevski, Ologu, M.Costea - Dina, Antchouet.
In the second half, for Craiova played the following team: Hotoboc - Buleica, I. Popescu, Barbu, Barboianu - Firtulescu, Nicolae (65 Roman), Gargorov, Gângioveanu - Stoianof, Gogosoiu.

Universitatea Craiova - Sportklub Bischofshofen 13-0

Universitatea Craiova started to prepare the next season. For this reason our team is in Austria trying to find oxygen and a good shape for the begining of August when the new Romanian football championship will start.

In the first game of this training session, Universitatea Craiova won against Sportklub Bischofshofen (a team in the 4th Austrian football league) with 13-0 (3-0).
Our team: Lung - Dananae, Gaman, Iliev, Busu - Prepelita, Dilevski, Ologu, M. Costea - Stoianof, Dina. after the break the team was changed: Hotoboc - Buleica, Barbu, I. Popescu, Barboianu, Firtulescu, Nicolae, Gargorov, Gângioveanu, Roman (Gogosoiu '78), Henry Antchouet

The goals were scored by Dina '24, Ologu '26, Mihai Costea '33, Antchouet '55, '77, Firtulescu '60, Buleica '75, Gogosoiu '79, '85, '90 and Gângioveanu '88. The Austrian team had own goals two times: '56 and '62.
