UT Arad - Universitatea Craiova 1-0

It was a very hard game for both teams. Universitatea Craiova came at this game without 9 formal players. A big number of them suffered injuries in this autumn and others accumulated 4 yellow cards that means an automate suspension for the next game.In such conditions, our team had an average age of 22 years old being probably the youngest football team in Romanian First Football League ever. Universitatea Craiova resisted until the 84th minute without goal. In the end of the game Hidisan scored for UTA and Craiova returned home with empty hands. The next game will be next week against FC Vaslui.

Brasil at World Cup 2006

Everybody knows why Brasil is famous in the World: the most powerful football team and beautiful ladies. This year the Brasilian football team did not made a quite good evolution. Even they were the last Champions Of The World, this year Ronaldinho, Ronaldo or Roberto Carlos left early the competition. The results of their games were:
Brasil - Croatia 1-0
Brasil - Australia 2-0
Japan - Brasil 1-4
Brasil - Ghana 3-0
France - Brasil 1-0
For any other football team in the World such an evolution should be considered as a success. For Brasil not. That because they have 5 titles of Wolrd Champion in their history.

Universitatea Craiova - Farul Constanta 1-0

It was a great fight this game. Universitatea won because of the goal scored by Saceanu, the player who carries nr. 8 T-shirt. In Craiova nr.8 is the most important number of the team. Great football players had this number and they never disappointed their fans. Their names: Ilie Balaci, Gh. Craioveanu, P. Badea, S. Cristescu.

So, nowadays, Saceanu is the man who continues this tradition.

Unfortunately, this game was spoiled by some incidents in stadium. A group of fans attacked another fan of the same team. This happening tells enough about the primitive civilization in Romanian stadiums. See the picture bellow:I hope such things never happen again.

Universitatea Craiova - Politehnica Timisoara 0-1

It was a game of complete and continous effort. Both teams worked hard to winn this game. This time wonn Timisoara. Because this team were more experienced. Between Craiova and Timisoara there was alawys a relation of respect and the result of this game was one result which never upset one of the fans of both teams. In other words, the happiness of such a game is greater than the result of it.

Craiova loves Timisoara and Timisoara loves Craiova.

Australia at World Cup 2006

Australia is a team which participated for only few times at this competition. That is because in this country the football means something else than in Europe or in America. Anyhow, Cangaroo's team had a good presence this year in Germany. The games they played were:
Japan - Australia 1-3
Brasil - Australia 2-0
Croatia - Australia 2-2
Italia - Australia 1-0Universitatea Craiova has 3 Australian football players who did a good job here until now. Their names: Michael Baird, Josh Mitchell and Joshua Rose. Let's hope you will hear these names again.

Rapid Bucharest - Universitatea Craiova 1-0

On November 8th, Universitatea Craiova played for the quarters of final in Romanian Cup. It was a beautiful game but unfortunately ended with a score which will be hard for Craiova's fans to accept.

The goal of the team from Bucharest was scored by a lucky shoot from free kick of Badoi. He is a player who was refused by Universitatea Craiova few years ago. Let's hope we can do better games in the future. We lost the participation in the Romanian Cup but we still have to fight in The First League. The next game will be this Sunday against Politehnica Timisoara.
