This game was a last chance for Universitatea Craiova to remain in Romanian first football league: Liga I. After first half the problem was solved. Stoianof scored for 1-0 in the 27th minute of the game. After 60 minutes of playing this problem became more than a serious issue. Brasov scored twice in 2 minutes ('65 and '67). Craiova lost this game in the end, and there are 6 more matches to play for salvation.
