Universitatea Craiova had a strong football team in the '80s. Players like Lung, Negrila, Tilihoi, Ungureanu, Ticleanu, Stefanescu, Crisan, Balaci, Camataru, Cartu, Irimescu, Geolgau, Beldeanu, Donose or Ciupitu made history for Romania. You may some images from that time in the video bellow.
